We enjoy working with rock, stone, and slate and chose hardscape materials which are rich and enduring. Our slate patios transform gardens into beautiful, permeable, functional spaces. We also like to use local black moss rock which has lichen and moss and helps a new garden already feel established. Depending on how we use stone, we inspire a sense of grounded spaciousness or give a soothing impression of water by using river stones. We also enjoy finding just the right boulder to use as featured, sculptured pieces. Zenscape also uses a variety of ledge stone for elegant retainers--as nothing compliments landscape like stone. Rock gardens are also a great way to transform and bring texture and style to a new, drought tolerant garden.
